People often ask what equipment I use for my daily routine.
The truth is… not much. Over the years I’ve found that a few simple tools can make a big difference in strength, stability, and mobility.
You don’t need a fancy home gym or complicated gadgets to move better. Most of the tools I use are simple, affordable, and easy to keep in a small corner of your home.
These tools help me maintain strength, stability, and mobility so I can keep teaching, moving, and enjoying life.
Here are the ones I use regularly.

Everything starts with a stable surface.
A quality yoga mat provides traction which makes movements safer and more comfortable—especially when getting down to the floor and back up again.
Too thin can feel harsh on the joints.
Too soft can make balance harder.
I prefer a mat that is firm, slightly thicker than average, and non-slip. I’ve used this same mat since 2004. It’s simple, durable, and still works perfectly.

Yoga blocks make movements more accessible.
They reduce strain and allow people to move with more confidence—especially when reaching toward the floor or supporting the body in different positions.
